Attached to the middle rear head restraint- this easily detachable mirror lets you keep a watchful eye on a child in a rearward-facing child safety seat if theyre in the back of your car. A practical mirror that provides the driver with the opportunity to watch over the child when the child seat is located in the rear seat. The mirror is mounted using a mounting bracket on the center head restraint and angled so that the driver can see the child in the mirror via the standard rear view mirror. A knob makes the mirror easy to remove if passengers are sitting in the center seat. Available for all Volvo models with a central head restraint in the rear seat. Note! Positioning the child seat on the rear seat is an absolute requirement and the only alternative if the car is equipped with an activated front passenger seat airbag. The potential use of the inner mirror for a child seat in the rear seat is considerable.
